I’ve got a few of the plant ornaments sitting around outside, seeing how well they hold up in real life. Below is a mahogany butterfly that lost its wing, making it a perfect candidate for testing. During the ice fog it collected quite a bit of frost on the wings.

The snowstorm that hit Houston, TX, also came through Bogue Chitto.  Though I wasn’t down there for the festivities, my parents were able to get a few pictures.  We got a few flakes in Indiana and Ohio from the next storm system.  Not as much snow as in the South, but a lot more wrecks! [...]
