The Scrollsaw Blog

Hello! My name is David, and I’m the owner of Tuliptree Crafts LLC.  I’ve been on the scrollsaw off-and-on since the mid 1990s, and have been cutting professionally under the name Tuliptree Crafts since 2003.  In 2005 I noticed that nobody had taken scrollsawblog.com, so I quickly snapped up the domain.  Later, I downloaded Wordpress to my server and started up the Scrollsaw Blog.

Scrollsaw Blog is the “face” to Tuliptree; here you can see what I’m working on, problems I’ve overcome  (or have overcome me!), along with different techniques I use on the scrollsaw.  Since my first craft show in September 2006, this blog has chronicled my journey towards building up Tuliptree Crafts into a full-time business.  What I talk about is only my opinion—there are more than one way to do just about anything, and my way may not be even close to the best way.

I try to post at least once a day—sometimes several times a day!  However, events can overtake us and it may be a few days between some posts.  Also, since this site is hosted on my own server, the Scrollsaw Blog may be down due to power outages or simply crashed computers!

Feel free to comment on anything here—you don’t have to actually join to submit a comment.  To prevent spam all comments are personally moderated by myself, and it may take a day for the comment to appear.

Thanks for reading, and Welcome to the Scrollsaw Blog!

David
